I'm pleased to announce that I'll be one of 9 artists participating in
The LightRoom's
mobile phone photography show. There's a reception Saturday afternoon,
December 10, 2011 from 2-5 PM at The LightRoom, 2263 5th Street in
Berkeley, and the show will be up until January 6th.
This is a new series of abstract works created with an older
iPhone of everyday objects. These images deal with memory-- evocative fragments that are
familiar, evanescent and difficult to pin down. Ambiguity opens onto
different spatial realms that invite looking, but resist
identification.
